For years, our brick and mortar bookshop, nestled in the lower level of the Amesbury Public Library has helped to fund hundreds of library programs, projects, and more.
Now, we’ve moved our inventory online so that you can shop all of our used books easily from the comfort of your home. From fiction to children’s titles, poetry and gift books, to non-fiction, games, puzzles, and DVDs, we have a wealth of gently used products ready to find a new home.
Orders can be picked up at the circulation desk at the Amesbury Public Library during normal Library hours. Orders placed by end of business day Thursday will be available by Saturday of each week.

The Stacks is the perfect example of a community giving back to an institution that it loves. All 2,500+ books in stock have been donated by the public and ALL proceeds from sales go right back to fund the Library supplies, technology improvements, programs for the community, and more.

Pay for your order online and receive an email when it’s ready.
Read the instructions on order pick up. Orders placed by end of business day on Thursday will be available at the circulation desk of the Amesbury Public Library by Saturday of each week.
